Condong Sugar Mill

Sunshine Sugar engaged ColorBlast to carry out a full roof replacement to two of their buildings, due to excessive structural damage to the extent where some areas of the roof members were non existent. This was due to sugar creating a corrosive environment. The removal and replacement process was planned and carried out to ensure the safety of all personnel. The process consisted of removing all old tin and purlins. Next, new purlins were secured in place, the new tin was installed, and the flashings were fitted. The project was completed during their shutdown and maintenance period and did not have an impact on the operations.
